Wraparound Care
What time do your breakfast and after-school clubs run?
Most of our clubs operate between 7:30am and 6:00pm, although exact times may vary depending on the school.
All sessions align with government guidance for wraparound childcare and individual school agreements.
Do you provide food at your clubs?
Yes. Our breakfast clubs include a healthy morning meal, helping children start the school day ready to learn.
Our after-school clubs provide a light snack, followed by a more filling option later in the session depending on the club timetable.
All food follows balanced nutrition guidelines.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Yes. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move a session.
We understand plans change, especially with young children, and our team will always try to help reschedule where possible.
Are your clubs suitable for Reception children?
Yes. Our clubs are designed to support younger children settling into school life.
Our team works closely with schools to help Reception pupils build confidence, make friends and feel comfortable in the environment.
Are your staff trained and DBS checked?
Yes. All staff hold enhanced DBS checks and complete safeguarding, first aid and child-care training.
We follow safer recruitment procedures and Ofsted guidance to ensure every child is supported in a safe and trusted environment.
Can I use Tax-Free Childcare or Universal Credit?
Yes. Many families use Tax-Free Childcare or Universal Credit childcare support to help pay for breakfast clubs, after-school clubs and holiday camps.
We are Ofsted-registered, which means our clubs are eligible for most government childcare schemes.
Do I need to book regular sessions?
No. Many parents choose regular weekly sessions, but some schools also offer flexible or ad-hoc bookings, depending on availability.
What age groups can attend your clubs?
Most clubs are available for children aged 4–11 attending the host primary school.
Some settings may vary slightly depending on school agreements.

What should my child bring to holiday camp?
Children should bring comfortable clothes, a packed lunch and a refillable water bottle.
We recommend trainers suitable for sports and a light coat for outdoor activities.
Are activities different each day at camp?
Yes. Our teams create a varied daily schedule so no two camp days feel the same.
Children can take part in a mix of sports, games and creative activities, with up to 20 activities available across the day.
Is the camp suitable for younger children?
Yes. Our Holiday Camps welcome children aged 4 and above (Reception+).
Activities are organised by age group so children feel comfortable, supported and able to take part at their own pace.
Can I book holiday camps for just one day?
Absolutely. You can book a single day, multiple days, or a full week, depending on what works best for your family.
What is the HAF programme and when does it run?
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is a government-funded initiative providing eligible families with free holiday camp places during school holidays.
HAF camps usually run during longer breaks such as Easter, Summer and Christmas. Places are allocated through your local council.
Progressive works with local authorities to help families access this support.
Why choose a holiday camp for your child?
Holiday Camps give children a chance to stay active, make friends and try new activities during the school holidays.
From team sports to creative challenges, every day helps children build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy their break from school in a safe, structured environment led by experienced coaches.
Are Progressive Holiday Camps safe?
Yes. All Progressive camp staff are DBS checked, first aid trained and experienced in working with children.
