Holiday Activities
For HAF Eligible Families
Free holiday activities, meals and enrichment programmes for children eligible through the Holiday Activities and Food programme.
How The HAF Programme Helps Families
The Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) helps children access free holiday activities, healthy meals and enriching experiences during the school holidays.
The programme is funded by the government and delivered locally through approved providers like Progressive.
Children can take part in a wide range of activities while enjoying nutritious meals and making new friends.
Healthy Meals
Children receive nutritious meals that support their wellbeing during school holidays.
Enriching Activities
From sports and team games to creative workshops, children experience a variety of engaging activities.
Family Support
Helping families during the school holidays providing free activity places, giving children a safe and active environment while easing childcare pressures.
While the programme mainly supports children eligible for free school meals (FSM), local authorities may also allocate up to 15% of places to children who may not receive FSM but could still benefit from the programme.
