Progressive Derbyshire brings high-energy sports coaching and active childcare to families across the area from Derby and Belper in the south to Chesterfield and Matlock in the north, and everywhere in between, including Ripley, Heanor, Ilkeston, and the towns and villages across Derbyshire.
We run before and after school clubs inside local primary schools, and holiday camps during every school break — giving children in Derbyshire a safe, active, and genuinely fun place to be when the school bell rings.
Our Derbyshire team is made up of fully qualified, DBS-checked coaches who love sport, love working with children, and love seeing kids grow in confidence every single session.

Excellent. Very responsive in communications. My son loves going and can be fussy who he is with. Staff greet him by name and know his preferences etc which shows how interactive they are with the children.
My son absolutely loves this club. He always says they are fun and comes home telling me what a great time he has had. The session leaders are super easy and flexible – one less parenting pressure to deal with!
Beatrice loves the wrap around care at Melbourne school. Her favourite activity is slime making. And she loves the outside play and sports
My 6 year old Charlotte absolutely loved the classes she attended this week. She had fun and really enjoyed learning about netball and basketball at Derwent school. It’s fantastic value for money and I love the fact the sports change each half term, Charlotte really likes the members of staff that run the classes thank you
My son went for the first time today (he is 6, yr 1) he loved it as asked if he could go everyday! Staff were really friendly and helpful! Very easy and simple drop off and pick up. Would highly recommend.
